The Sefia XR Egging reel features a gear ratio of 5.3, a maximum drag force of 9 kg, and weighs just 185 grams. Its spool diameter is 47 mm with a 17 mm stroke, and it offers a line capacity of PE #0.6-200m, #0.8-150m, and #1.0-120m. The reel retrieves 78 cm of line per handle rotation, with a handle length of 45 mm, and is equipped with 9 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing. The evolution of the Sefia XR doesn’t stop. Designed specifically for Egging, this reel focuses on three essential elements: durability to withstand repeated jerking, lightness to make sustained jerks easier, and quietness during retrieval. The Sefia XR achieves these with its lightweight, high-strength body, moulded from Shimano's original CI4+ material reinforced with carbon fibre. It also includes Micro Module Gear 2 for smooth and durable winding, and Silent Drive technology to minimise vibration and rattling. Additionally, the reel features a long stroke spool and a rigid support drag system to enhance long-distance casting performance and handle the intense pulling force characteristic of squid during jet propulsion. The Sefia XR is truly dedicated to delivering an optimal Egging experience.
